hello. i am building a transformer tank costume for my son out of cardboard. what is the best paint to use

krylon!!!! imo thats what I used looks good imo the best out there for the price.

I use a cheap spray paint for the primer in a color close to the final color. For Megatron I used a Krylon for the gray and some black, but then I started using a latex enamel for the black towards the end. If you look at the more recent pics of Megs, the gray body is krylon and the head is latex enamel (water based). To get the bright, shiny colors on OP and BB, I went with latex enamel the whole time. Problem with that is it can chip at the edges or in weak spots, so you have to re-apply between wearings. The primer choice helps, I wish I would have used red instead of white on Prime.

Wow, never had to think of that. I'm not sure but I would say to definitely test it out on an sample. Spray would probably be best.
